At the May 9, 2026 regular meeting, the membership will vote on amendments to the club bylaws.

The bylaws have been updated:

• to align with Washington state laws regarding 501(3)c organizations
• clarifying member type and membership dues
• clarifying budgeting dates for the Board of Directors
• establishing the club's endowment fund
• defining our on-going Special Committees

While there appear to be many changes, mostly some of the wording has changed, (i.e. "living" is now "residing."), and the document has been reformatted.

These changes were prepared by a 5-member panel, and the changes were reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors on March 4, 2026.

The Board of Directors requests that members review the changes and send comments to BJ KO7T (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) or any board member. We will also open the floor for discussion at the March and April general membership meetings.
