Bylaws
Bylaws were most recently updated after study by a committee during Spring 2022, approval by the Board on June 15, 2022, and ratification by the membership on November 9, 2022.
Here are the Radio Club of Tacoma Bylaws effective 1/1/2023.
2026 Bylaws Amendments
At the May 9, 2026 regular meeting, the membership will vote on amendments to the club bylaws.
The bylaws have been updated:
- to align with Washington state laws regarding 501(3)c organizations
- clarifying member type and membership dues
- clarifying budgeting dates for the Board of Directors
- establishing the club's endowment fund
- defining our on-going Special Committees
While there appear to be many changes, mostly some of the wording has changed, (i.e. "living" is now "residing."), and the document has been reformatted.
These changes were prepared by a 5-member panel, and the changes were reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors on March 4, 2026.
