The Radio Club of Tacoma Library includes hundreds of books relating to amateur radio, electronics, and radio science that may be found on the shelves of the Oakman Resaerch Library collection on the upper floor of the Clubhouse and in the DeMaw Circulating Library collection in the Classroom.

All of the resources in the Library are collected, organized and maintained by the Radio Club of Tacoma Library Committee (RCTLC) under the leadership of our head librarian Doug Oakman, AD7AV (This email address is being protected from spambots. DeMaw Circulating Library holdings may be checked out for home use by members.

Oakman Research Library is available to members for research purposes during Saturday Open House events and at some other times.  These holdings do not circulate.  Non-members may request access to the research library holdings by appointment.

Here is a list of RCT Library holdings, or you may search the online catalog of library materials.

Club members who are registered users on this website may LOG IN to view a number of books from the early days of radio that have been digitized and made available online as "eBooks".

Not a member? No problem! Just visit the Membership page, fill out a membership application form, and mail it in with your dues for the current year.

The Library Committee publishes Radio Links, a listing of online resources relating to amateur radio, electronics, radio history, and radio science. Everyone is welcome to download and view Radio Links
