isolated salmonW7DK was on the air for this year's Salmon Run Contest, September 17 and 18.

And as in previous years, the Radio Club of Tacoma conducted our annual Fundraiser in conjunction with the contest.  Since many pledges are based on the number of Washington counties we work in the contest, we did our best to get a "clean sweep" of all 39, and we succeeded!  Multiple operators worked in shifts, using two transmitters, to maximize our effort (class MO2T).

In 2021's Salmon Run, W7DK made 801 QSOs with 97 multipliers, and all 39 Washington counties.

We beat that effort this year, with 895 QSOs and 102 mults.  We worked all of the North American states and provinces except NT, plus 7 DX entities.

Consistent with improved solar conditions, it was great to find 40M and 15M to be productive bands this year!  On the down side:  urban noise has increased, and we found ourselves unable to hear weak stations on 40M and 80M that other hams told us were calling.
